4th day in Chiangmai, ThailandAs I mentioned in the previous post on my trip to Thailand, we shopped at this gigantuan shopping mall until the last stall had it's shutters pulled down. So obviously, it was near midnight when we reached International Centre. Therefore, almost everybody (except Mr Bala) overslept and we were behind schedule for our 3rd trip to CMU!
Nura and I were supposed to take a short bus-ride with senior physio students to do some community work but since we couldn't wake up on time, WE MISSED THE BUS.
Thankfully, Mr Bala let us accompany him and Siriphan to this place:
Nura and I were really impressed by the way Mr Bala handled some of the patients. His ideas on improving their mobility was really out of the box; if I hadn't witness it myself, I wouldn't have thought of it!
Ya'll should know that it ain't right to take snapshots of patients in a hospital right? Hahaha! So not many pictures on our trip to this place.

Siriphan then drove us back to CMU and because Mr Bala had to attend a meeting with some of the big shots there, Nura and I joined Phoebe and Xueling at the Paediatrics department!!
The little dude in yellow's Jame and the physio student's Komsan! They were having this long, long, looooonnnnggg conversation regarding God-knows-what and at the end of it, Jame whacked Komsan on his ass hard! Like, REAL HARD; complete with a deafening "PIACK" sound!
Dang! Why don't I understand Thai?! I so could've understood what they were talking about then! But then again, I have a slight feeling the two guys were talking about a pretty girl called Phoebe. LoL! Young Jame had a puppy dog crush on her!!! WAHAHAHA!!!

Aaaawww... sho shweet!!
When the boy meets the girl...
Before Nura and I joined them, Komsan was asking Phoebe and Xueling if they club. Both girls told him that they were "good girls" so they "never go dancing".
Komsan was flabberghasted at their reply and he couldn't stop saying, "Huh?! Really ah?! Good girl Singapore no dancing ah?!"
WAHAHAHAHAHA!!! He wanted to bring us to Club Monkey, the Number 1 Clubbing place in Chiangmai. LoL!

She was getting in touch with the kid within her!! Those were one of the few times Nura was actually... kiddish!
It was off to the conference room for lunch after that. Mr Bala was having his presentation while we were gorging ourselves with food and a couple of his slides caught my eye instantly! Therefore, I couldn't resist the temptation of taking a few pictures of it.
Phoebe doesn't seem to be happy with her food... HAHAHA!! Maybe too spicy for her liking!
Aiyoh... I hate statistics!!!
Err... ok...
Superly, duperly, gigantuanly cheem
BUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Dessert time after his presentation ended. Sticky rice with Mango... WOOTS! You'll never believe where the mangoes came from. They were hand-plucked by the Associate Dean from her very own mango tree!!

And because Mr Komsan entertained us for most of the afternoon, we gave him a small token of appreciation; a Singapore girl keychain to remind him that "good girl Singapore no dancing!"
Here's Tami and Sean, her "good friend" from the US of A. I'm still unsure of how the two of them met. HAHAHA!
All of us caught a quick nap at I.C., had a fantabulous dinner afterwards (super nice Tom Yam soup, I tell you!) and we went for a massage at this quiet villa... Mei Ping's dream place to be!
Mr Bala wasn't lying or exaggerating when he said I took pictures of "everything". Even this innocent snail couldn't escape my flash!
I fell onto their couch and was unwilling to get my ass off it. Yes, it's THAT comfortable. Excuse the tired look on my face... I was Au Naturale!
The room for Traditional Thai massages
This was the kinda room I was lying in for more than an hour and a half. Whoo! I opted for Thai Oil Massage
Because a whole group of us came for a massage so unexpectedly, the number of custmers outnumbered the number of masseurs. I was the last one to get "rubbed" and so, everybody had to wait for me at the reception area for approximately 30 minutes.
Mr Bala was then telling the group that my massage was taking such a long time because I was busy taking pictures of the lady massaging me -_-"
No pictures of Nura and I because she was wrapped in nothing but a skimpy towel whereas I only had a terrycloth robe around myself. Actually, got photos lah... BUT NOT GONNA SHOW THEM OFF.

The very next day was Tham's birthday; Mr Bala and Tami pre-ordered a cake for her and we decided to celebrate her special day at the stroke of midnight.
Hey, come to think of it, they should all thank me for being the last to come out of the massaging room! If it wasn't for me, we wouldn't have reached I.C. at the correct time mah! Am I right to say so??? =p
