I burnt my pocket. Totally! I attended a briefing for my OT posting this morning and THE HORRORS!! Norain said that we had to buy "a pair of non-slip slippers" to along along with our OT attire and she placed a picture of the recommended "slipper" at the bottom of her power-point slide.
This was her "recommendation":

Now I understand why alot of people have been telling me not to "be too sure" about the future. Bah! I blatantly sweared that I will never in my life wear something so ARH-GLAY and waddaya know, I am sorta being forced to, not only wear it, but to PURCHASE it just so I can survive for 5 bloody days in the Operating Theatre.

Shidah, Nad & I went to AMK Central after having our consolidation lecture to get those fugly shoes. Of course Duckie and I chose to invest in those cheap, imitation pairs and not spend 50-over-dollars on something we so hate and will be wearing for less than a week!
I tried googling for the colour that I bought but I can't even find it! That's how imitated this imitation version is; can't even locate it on the www. And it's logo is not even the drawing of a crocodile, but that of a SEAHORSE! How cute... not.
Shidah bought a navy blue pair. Mine's sky-blue. IT'S NOT BY CHOICE THAT WE PAID FOR IT IN BLUE!!! Protocol only allows either black, blue or purple. We did consider getting a purple pair, but figured we'd end up looking like bloody brinjals because our attire's gonna be green (SGH & TTSH). Considerably better looking than AH, NUH and definately CGH. Omg, CGH attire is a disgusting shade of brown!!!
I am still fuming mad that I had to splurge the money I was saving for my diving (not driving) lessons on some hideous, rubbery, sky-blue jester shoes!!!

Mine's not exactly that shade... much ligter. Try adding two tones of white to it and you'd achieve the exact colour of what I have. Oh, and then tell me that you agree it's super U-G-L-Y!
