Olympics; Day One

Ryoko Tani (Tamura) managed to secure herself a bronze medal this year; widely speculated that this Olympics will be her final one. She fought her way to the semi-finals but lost to some girl from Romania. Omg, that Romanian girl went on to win the gold -_-"

I'm still not used to calling the ex-champion "Tani" lah! Have been referring to her as Tamura since the start until the 2004 Games in Athens when she changed her name to her husband's. Rah!! "Tani" just reminds me of the RGS coach. LOL! Sounds abit like his name :P

OH! OH! OH!

Kim Willoughby is now playing for the US Olympic Volleyball team!!! WTH!!!

The last time I saw her on TV (back in 2002), she was only the captain of her High School team and she won the Championship for them. NOW SHE'S PLAYING FOR THE OLYMPICS!!! Yeaps, team USA won Japan 3-1 last night.

Can't wait to watch the Brazilian team play. I wanna see if Erika Coimbra is still on the team! She's the most gorgeous brazilian woman ever! Go google her name and view her pictures if you don't believe me!



p/s: I still don't think LJW should be our flag-carrier lor... No offence but SHE'S NOT SINGAPOREAN!! She has citizenship but still, SHE'S NOT BORN HERE!!! I'd rather Lee Wung Yew hold our flag. Ok, fine, I'm being biased here. Bo bian, he was my PE teacher for 2001 & 2002 and he's damn good to us (unless you fail 2.4km). Go, egg monster, GO!!
