Post Daughtry & Judo Barbeque!!Chris Daughtry, finalist of American Idol Season 5, has THE sexiest voice ever. He can take on Bon Jovi and Guns&Roses ANYTIME.
Claudia and I got to see him in the flash at St. James on the 20th... IT WAS AWESOME. I so could've gotten my hands on his beer bottle after the gig was over if the waiter hadn't been too eager to clear it. DAMN!
EVIL WAITER!!!!!
I totally evaporated from the face of this earth the moment he sang "Home".
Rosalyn Lee was at the event and she's sizzling hawt! Good height, jaw-dropping figure and with a distictive style of her own... totally fit for showbizz. Shan Wee looked 101% ordinary just by standing beside her. I think it's about time he started scouting for a new co-worker... Rozz is gonna make it BIG one day!
Now on to a more teenagerish, less glitz and glamour but just as much fun topic; NYP JUDO CLUB BBQ GATHERING!
We were 'spose to have a 3 day 2 night camp but there were a few not-so-pleasant disagreements between the coloured and white belts.. so camp has been "postponed" until December, I think.
No camp = barbeque session at ECP (21st Sept)
Because I slept really late the day before (I was up all night reading, not dreaming of Daughtry lah!), I didn't budge an inch when Raiden sent me a morning sms. I was supposed to meet him, Jaya and JJ to get the foodstuff and other necessities for the event.
When I woke up around 11am and saw his message, I dialled his number and he was already on conference with Jaya. So you guys can roughly guess how the entire conversation between Jaya and I was like... but in case you can't, here's part of it:
Me: Eh, please lah! I slept at 8am leh! You guys go ahead without me lah! I meet you all there.
Jaya: Wake up lah you! We need you to come along lah.. we need people to help us carry things!
Me: You got Raiden and JJ what! Three people still not enough?!
Jaya: Aiyah... we need you also lah! HAHAHA! We need tai-o-toshi players. HAHAHAHA!
Me: Wah lao.. I'm damn tired lah... LET ME SLEEP!!!
Jaya: Ok, what time you wanna sleep until?
Me: Err... late afternoon? Around 4 to 5pm??
Jaya: WAH FUCK!!! You're worse than me man! I at most sleep until 2pm only, you know?
******
I still got off my bed and headed for the showers despite feeling all groggy and stuff. Raiden called an hour later and said he was already at the carpark waiting.
I went downstairs, looked from one end of the carpark to the other and I couldn't spot him. Reason being, his dad's car was parked right in front of me and I missed it cmpletely! LOL! Told you I was exhausted, didn't I?! He even had to honk a few times to get my attention. =P
We went off to pick Jaya up next. That fella is staying near Budo Academy!!! Bugger.
JJ was waiting for us outside EVSS for quite some time already, so Raiden and Jaya were kinda panicky while reading the map of how to get to Tampines from Farrer Park.
(while looking at the map)
Raiden: Aiyoh, Machi!! Look at the road!! I see the map can faint already lah... how to drive?!
Jaya: WAHAHAHAHA!! The road looks nice what! Like spaghetti eh?
-________ -""""""""""""
Yeah, that dude can only think of his stomach at that point of time because he had "only cornflakes" for breakfast. I HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
I can't recall what road we were on and we had to turn left to go to Pasir Ris before being able to advance to Tampines. But Jaya and I told Raiden to make a right turn and we ended up Changi Airport (at that point of time, I swore to get my license only AFTER I'm familiar with SG roads).
Finally picked JJ up and our first pit-stop for the day was Sheng Siong. Had a million things to buy ranging from food, drinks, utensils, spices, marinades etc.
Jaya (being ultra hungry) saw a certain brand of bread on promotion and each loaf costs only 90 cents. He asked JJ if he could buy it and once given the thumbs-up, he took 5 loaves all at once!
Oh, and that guy, being the heavy drinker that he was born to be (he always says that alcohol is his blood), wanted to lay his hands on the beer cans but since JJ and Raiden asked him not to buy any alcoholic drinks yet, and he was in so much agony that he couldn't drink just yet, he picked up a carton of Heineken, looked at it with fiery desire and kissed it.
The crazy stuff that people do these days *sigh*
We went to Pasir Ris to purchase the rest of the stuff that Sheng Siong didn't offer and then made another U-turn back to JJ's place to thaw the chicken wings, slice the stingrays, prepare the sambal, put mozarella cheese on the hotdogs and crab-sticks etc.
Reached ECP at 6pm... and WE SAW VJ UTT!!!! He looked so damn hawt on his roller-blades. Raiden was the one who spotted him from afar. What can I say? He wants to be a sniper in the near future. Hahahaha!!
Ate and ate and ate... Jaya just kept drinking Carlsberg and Tiger; one can after another! JJ knocked out if I'm not mistaken... he had to seek refuge in Leo's tent. Wahahaha!
Got to know the judokas at a more personal level. =)
Most of the time, during trainings, I don't really socialise with my seniors either because they're too intimidating or we're just too engrossed with our practices. So it's a good thing I went for the BBQ. RAH! It'd be so much better if they didn't cancel the camp. But whatever. The drive home was CRAZY! Yao Zhong, kenneth and Wan Shi were trailing behind Raiden and I. LoL! Can't blog in detail because my eyes are hurting after staring at the screen for so long (I was doing something for attachment).
Ciao now.
