Who doesn't love denim?!Take note: Due to the growing number of people who're beginning to dress like me (for reasons which will become very clear after extremely intensive psychoanalysis), I shall not mention where I go clothes-shopping anymore. Good for you if you're able to hire a P.I. to follow me around. But if you're unable to fork out the dough to have me spied on, TOO BAD! You're gonna have to ask me where I bought the cute top/trendy jeans from personally and I'll tell you the exact location if I've a good hair day =)
I FINALLY MET DILLY!!!!
After more than a year of not meeting up face-to-face, we're finally able to see each other and have a real conversation over Swensen's ice-cream! Not that our past conversations with each other were "unreal", but it was mostly through MSN because the girl ditched me in Singapore and she flew over to the lovely New Zealand (you mean you didn't bring back any sheepskin for me to make a new coat with?! You're evil!!!).
But voila! She came back two weeks ago and my hands were smeared with chilli crab gravy when she gave me a surprise call. Hahahaha!! According to her, I sounded damn "fierce".
So what else is new? The two most common things that people tell me is,
1) I look like a Malay/Indonesian
2) I'm very fierce
C'mon man, Dil! You are aware that I am not a fiery person unless provoked right?! And judging from the current situation that I'm in, I don't blow up or get aggressive, that is, if a person don't go too far with his/her sickening tac-tics.
Alright, enough with the much hated digression; WE WENT SHOPPING FOR NEW DENIMS! I made up my mind to buy two pairs, faded blue and grey, but upon arrival to that place, they had so many colours and shades available that I was simply spoilt for choice! Their mannequin was dressed in a lime-green pair and it looked really good! So I, being all adventurous and stuff, actually picked up a bright green pair and tried it on!
But once I looked at myself in the mirror, I knew the fashion police would come after me immediately if I were to wear it beyond my front door, so I chose to stick to safer colours (and safer waters).
I decided to just get the grey pair and a navy blue one for Duckie. The faded blue one, though really cute-looking, just didn't go well with my leg structure and skin tone. Dang!
I spent about one hour looking high and low for my jeans and Duckie's when Dil called to say that she's reached! One hour of scouting and I didn't feel bored or tired at any point of time; that's how wide their range of denims is!
The moment Dil stepped into the shop, she was just staring at the shelves wide-eyed mouthed a very loud, "WHOA!". Well, that's the sorta reaction you portray when you're spoilt for choice. Right, girlfriend?
She bought her pair and off it was to shopping centre number two. My all-time favourite clothes store had new arrivals and they were having 20% discount STORE-WIDE! I purchased a brown off-shoulder top for a bargain of just $15. Cheap or what?! And we're not even in Bugis!!
Dilly bought me a pair of square-hooped earrings. Really pretty and unique!! Thanks babe! I am so gonna wear it to my grandma's birthday bash next month and have my cousins envy the shit out of me! Hahaha! My only fear is that my nephews might rip it off my earlobe =X You know how "curious" little toddlers are these days eh? They simply let their hands wonder everywhere to touch everything (human body parts included!).
But whatever. I still love my darling boys to bits!
Yes, I've lost 4kg because I ran 3km almost every night during the period when I was having attachment at KKH. Am trying to maintain my current weight but that sadistic woman brought me to Swensen's and I fell into temptation.
Oh, for the love of God!!! Why?! WHY?! WHY?!?!?!
I stuck to fruity flavours (mango and orange sherbet) with a dab of marshmellow sauce. Dil, on the other hand, went for the ultra sinful Sticky Chewy Chocolate and... what's the other satanic flavour you had?! Can't recall, but it's way filled with calories (ok, I know I'm beginning to sound like a damned bimbo who doesn't care about anything else other than her weight, but you can't blame me for it. Blame the assholes who've been calling me fat and reminding me constantly that my hips are huge) and she asked them to top it up with hot fudge sauce!!!
DERLINDER!!!!!! GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!
Despite buying only one pair of jeans when I should've bought two, despite getting a new top that Raiden's prolly gonna kill me for, despite binging on ice-cream when I'm 'spose to watch my intake of food, I still wanna say a HUGE "Thank you" to the girl who made this day a very pleasant and enjoyable one! Dilly, I love the earrings and yes, the next time we hang out, it'll be AT NIGHT! No sun to kill our skin cells.
